If you are taking the BAR exam, your goal should be to try your best,
and get the highest score that you possibly can. To get high scores, you
must study hard.
A
big part of studying is practice tests. Practicing
ahead of time with real test questions will prepare you for the types
of questions that appear on the test. But this is only half of the solution
- the other part is taking these practice tests WITH A TIMER.
It doesn't matter that you can answer all of the questions correctly if
you cannot finish your test on time. When it comes time to write your
essays, allocating your time becomes even more important.
The
ability to answer the questions correctly does not matter if you
cannot finish the test on time. |

Our timer isn't JUST a quiet timer, it also will help train
your brain to spend the correct amount of time on each test question.
Using a patent pending process,
THE SILENT
TIMER™ takes in your test time and
number of questions. It then tells you exactly how much time you can spend
on each question before you are losing time on the rest of your exam. By
using this process in practice and on test day, you will be able to increase
your answering speed far beyond what you thought possible.
You may notice the
preset buttons for the ACT,
SAT, LSAT
and MCAT on
the timer. However, these are merely preset buttons to help students taking
those tests. Our timer will work on ANY test, not just
those four tests, simply by entering in your test time and number of questions
for your BAR
exam.
Here's How
It Works
Step 1:
Enter in the number of questions on your test
Step 2: Enter in how much time is allowed
Step 3: Press start and begin taking your test
It really is just
that simple to customize your Silent Timer for your BAR Exam, and yet
here is all of the information that it can provide for you:
1. It
keeps track of the total time left on your test section
2. It keeps track of how many questions you have answered, and
how many remain
3. It shows the average time available per question
4. It keeps track of the amount of time left on the current question

your future riding on this test, give yourself an advantage over your

back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied. What have you
got to lose?
What
if I cannot bring my timer into the testing room?
There is not a lot of consistency about which types of testing timers
are allowed on test day. In the past, certain BAR testing centers have
allowed the timer, while others haven't.
Keep in mind, however, that BAR Exam preparation spans a period of several
months, often more. By the time you take your test, you should have already
developed a pacing strategy that will move you steadily through your exam.
Practicing with THE
SILENT TIMER™
under
real time pressure will allow you to arrive to your BAR exam feeling confident
that your pacing is under control.
*
It is important that you check with your exam board before test day
to see if timers are allowed in the testing center. Some tests, like
the MCAT and GRE, do not allow desktop timers. However, The Silent
Timer™ is still a great practice tool, preparing you
to overcome the time constraints on test day.

"I loved The Silent Timer, both in studying for the
Bar exam and during the test. Before The Silent Timer, I was having
a problem budgeting my time. After practicing with the timer for
about 2 months, I was able to finish my test with plenty of time
left over!" (11/01/2005)

Almost
all law school graduates need to apply for bar admission through their
state board of bar examiners to obtain a license for law practice. This
admission typically consists of a two-day BAR exam and review of all applicants’
character and fitness.
On the first day of the BAR exam, applicants take the Multistate Bar Examination,
which is a standardized six hour 200 multiple choice test covering six
areas: Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law, Evidence, Real Property
and Torts. Developed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners, the
MBE is divided into two periods of three hours each (one in the morning
and one in the afternoon of the test day). Read
